Swimming in the School Pool.

Here I am swimming in the school swimming pool.  It is very cold but I am very brave!  I have a noodle by my tummy and I am not even holding on the bar.

Reading My Poem.

I am reading to my friend.  I can read this poem because we learn it in Room 1.  Next I would like to read the Crocodile poem.

Kelly Sports.

We are learning to throw and catch on Tuesday mornings at Kelly Sports, 

with Coach Cameron.

Who Am I?

We had to tell about ourselves.  I had to think about me and what I look like.  Then write down the words and they are the clues.  We put them into a book so that other people can read them.  They have to think about what person it might be.  It is mystery to solve!!  It was tricky to do - Who Am I?

Telling the Time.

At Maths time I was learning to tell the time on a clock or a watch or a phone or on the ipad.   On this clock here, the big hand is on the 12, and the little hand is on the 9.  This means it is 9 o'clock.  If I change the little hand and it points to 7, then it would be 7 o'clock.  At first it was tricky to learn the time, but now it's easy.

Reading Eggs.

I am just learning about Reading Eggs.  I have to click on 'm'.  It was easy for me and I was fast.  I might try to play on Mummy's phone when I am at home.

Year 1 Skipping Day.

Here I am jumping over the long rope on our skipping day.

Writing My Letters.

I am matching the little letters and the big letters.  It was easy for me because I am learning them with Mrs Kerr and Mum and Daddy.  I like my yellow background.

Fun and Fitness.

We have been working on our fitness this term and we have been trying some new activities.

Reading in Room 1.

I am reading the big book in Room 1.  I can find some words by myself.  I can't read all of the words yet.

Stardome Writing.

On Monday the 25th of June, Room 1 visited the Stardome.   We looked at planets and stars and space suits.  Here I am as an astronaut flying to the moooooooon!

When we came back to school we had to write a story about our trip.  Mrs Kerr let us choose some shapes in Tagul and then we had to import our words.  We could change the colours.  We printed them out and put them up on our space wall.  We think they look super AMAZING.  Here is my one.

Mathletics at School.

I count and then I pick the number.  I can see the green tick and I got it right.  I only do Mathletics at school.
